Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communication Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and design all communication, promotional, and visibility materials for effective outreach and engagement.
  • Conduct thorough research on public health issues and document findings in comprehensive reports and papers.
  • Prepare high-quality program/project-related documents and write-ups as required by stakeholders.
  • Provide professional editing services to ensure accuracy and clarity in all documents and publications.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan, develop, and design all communication materials.
  • Produce customized reports and analyses as needed to support decision-making.
  • Represent the organization in advocacy working groups, meetings, and workshops to promote key messages.
  • Develop engaging presentations to showcase organizational activities effectively.
  • Support the planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of program/project activities.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in a relevant field from a reputable national or international university.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a non-profit setting.
  • Exceptional writing and strong communication skills in English are essential for success in this position.
  • Proficiency in computer use, especially Microsoft Office applications.
  • A team-oriented individual with a willingness to learn and develop professionally is preferred.
  • Strong work ethics and values are necessary for this role.

  • Duration: 1-year contract, with potential for extension based on performance and funding availability.
