Key Responsibilities">
  1. ">
  2. Crop Scouting and Follow-ups: Regularly visit farms to assess crop health and provide guidance on best practices.">
  3. Farm Advisory Services: Provide expert advice to farmers on crop management, including sowing, harvesting, and handling.">
  4. Good Agricultural Practices: Ensure that farmers follow established guidelines for sustainable agriculture.">
  5. Crop Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor crop performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.">
  6. Training and Transfer of Best Practices: Participate in training programs to develop and share expertise with farmers.">
  7. Variety Trials, Evaluations, and Research: Assist in evaluating new crop varieties and conducting research to improve seed quality.">
  8. New Area/Geography Development: Identify opportunities to expand seed production into new areas.">
  9. SQA Journey and Seed Traceability: Implement seed quality assurance processes and track seed production from planting to harvest.">
  10. Field Team Training: Train field teams on crop best practices and agro-machinery usage.">
  11. Cost-Effectiveness and Quality Management: Utilize agro-machinery and field operation solutions to optimize crop yields and quality.">
  12. Project Management: Manage specific potato projects and programs under supervision.">
  13. Farm Visits and Advisory Support: Conduct regular farm visits and provide advisory support to farmers.">
  14. Data Collection and Grower Complaints: Collect data on crop performance and handle grower complaints in a professional manner.">
  15. General Advisory Services: Provide general advisory services to growers without brand recommendations.">
">Qualifications">
  • ">
  • B.Sc. (Hons.)/M.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture">
  • Knowledge of Potato Growing Areas, Farmers, and Crop Management">
  • Technical Knowledge of Pest Control">
  • Fluency in Local Languages">
  • Computer Skills">
  • 1-2 years' Supervisory Experience or 2-3 years' Field Experience in Agribusiness">
