Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

The role of a logistics coordinator is to oversee the movement and storage of goods, products, or resources from one location to another. As a dispatch professional in this position, you will be responsible for coordinating transportation services, ensuring timely delivery of shipments, and maintaining open communication with carriers and clients.

This dynamic role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional problem-solving skills and be able to think critically in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate rates with brokers to secure loads.
  • Assign loads to carriers based on their capacity and geographical location.
  • Monitor shipment progress and make adjustments as needed.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls, facilitating communication between carriers and clients.
  • Submit invoices and maintain meticulous records of all transactions.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Written and Spoken English: The candidate must demonstrate a high level of proficiency in spoken English.
  • Fluency in English: The candidate should be fluent in English, with the capacity to express ideas, thoughts, and information clearly and coherently in both written and spoken forms.
