Job Title: Assistant Manager Planning and Supply Chain
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager Planning and Supply Chain to oversee and improve supply chain operations, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and ensure efficient procurement, production, and delivery processes.
This position involves managing logistics, delivery schedules, and inventory control, as well as handling returns and reverse logistics processes.
- Perform cost estimation for materials, equipment, and production processes
- Oversee procurement activities and monitor production equipment efficiency
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production schedules and timely deliveries
- Lead efforts to resolve customer and supplier issues related to product specifications
- Continuously review and enhance supply chain systems, processes, and procedures
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with local and international suppliers/vendors
- Effectively prioritize tasks and make sound decisions in time-sensitive situations
- Strong skills in supply chain planning, forecasting, and coordination
- Proven experience in sourcing and procurement of raw materials and equipment
- Competency in managing logistics, delivery schedules, and inventory control
- Experience in handling returns and reverse logistics processes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing business needs
