Job Summary:

Developing marketing strategies involves creating and executing plans aligned with the brand to enhance product visibility and drive sales in retail and distribution channels. This includes conducting market analysis and consumer insights to optimize promotional efforts, providing regular reports to management, and collaborating with trade teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives. Additionally, managing campaigns, promotions, and merchandising strategies, while building strong relationships with distributors and key stakeholders, ensures smooth execution of strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Marketing Strategies: Creating and executing marketing plans in line with the brand plan to enhance product visibility and drive sales in retail and distribution channels.
  • Market Analysis & Consumer Insights: Conducting research on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to optimize promotional efforts. Provide regular reports and insights to management on category performance, market trends, and key opportunities.
  • Sales Collaboration: Working closely with the trade teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and ensure effective execution to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Campaigns & Promotions: Managing marketing campaigns, promotions, and merchandising strategies to boost product presence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with distributors, healthcare professionals, and key industry stakeholders. Act as a liaison between the trade and other departments (sales, marketing, supply chain) to ensure smooth execution of strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing activities using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all marketing efforts adhere to industry regulations and ethical standards.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or sales within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.
  • Experience in market analysis and consumer insights.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Proficiency in market research and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of sales collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with marketing campaigns, promotions, and merchandising strategies.
  • Ability to track and analyze KPIs.
  • Understanding of industry regulations and ethical standards.
