About the Job
  • Lead and empower a team of Sales Engineers dedicated to supporting commercial sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Guide a team of Commercial Sales Engineers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Oversee daily activities, ensuring effective resource allocation and consistent delivery of high-quality technical support for commercial sales engagements.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Sales Managers to strategize on key accounts, identify customer pain points, and develop tailored technical solutions and demonstration plans.
  • Review and approve technical proposals, demonstrations, and presentations prepared by your team.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, providing guidance and support.
  • Contribute to ongoing training material development and programs for Sales Engineers.
  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Monitor team performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of leadership or team lead experience within a technical pre-sales or Sales Engineering capacity.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Bachelor's of Science preferred.
  • Proven individual contributing Sales Engineer experience with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing talent.
  • Strong understanding of commercial sales cycles and pre-sales role in accelerating deals.
  • Familiarity with value selling concepts and methodologies.
  • Strong technical aptitude with SaaS, hardware, IoT, and AI/ML technologies experience.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and propose effective solutions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pakistani market knowledge is beneficial.
