Job Title: Payroll and Provident Funds Specialist

Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled payroll and provident funds specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and employee benefits, including Gratuity and Provident Fund.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience in payroll processing and administration of retirement funds, as well as strong knowledge of compliance regulations related to payroll and employee benefits.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is required. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll for all employees across entities.
  2. Manage payroll system, including addition and deletion of staff, ensuring all changes are reflected accurately and timely.
  3. Process loan and advance requests of staff in accordance with policies, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines.
  4. Oversee exit formalities for departing employees, including processing of final settlements and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations regarding income tax, SESSI, PESSI, EOBI, and professional tax.
  6. Prepare and submit returns for SESSI, PESSI, and EOBI, ensuring timely compliance with government regulations.
  7. Ensure timely submission of tax and other statutory deductions to the government treasury.
  8. Handle company's Provident Fund, including addition, deletion, and profit allocation for members.
  9. Process loan applications, temporary withdrawals, and permanent withdrawal requests from Provident Fund members.
  10. Handle accounting system of provident funds including annual profit distribution to the members of funds.
  11. Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate external audit of Provident Funds, ensuring all necessary documentation and information is prepared and available.
  12. Facilitate preparation and review of Provident Funds tax returns, ensuring accurate and timely filing of all relevant tax documentation.
