Key Commercial Role

The role will be responsible for developing a strategic agenda to drive long-term category growth and increase market share. This includes executing projects aligned with the company's objectives and business plan, while upholding commitments to breastfeeding, local, and WHO code.

  • Leading the market-based planning process to ensure end-to-end planning of categories for growth.
  • Executing new launches in line with company objectives.
  • Developing a category strategy document based on shopper excellence and category dynamics, including defining category points of purchase strategies.
  • Creating a structured program for shopper excellence and becoming recognized as an expert in shopper and category understanding through research and immersion.
  • Identifying priority channels for the category/sub-category and working with channel managers to recommend tailored category channel plans in line with overall market strategy.
  • Developing and proposing an in-store vision of success for the category/sub-category in each channel and supporting its implementation and effectiveness review.
  • Contributing to the integrated customer plan process by identifying key opportunities and possible action plans for the category/sub-category.
  • Recommending actionable in-store solutions based on clear shopper behavior understanding within the category/sub-category.
  • Recommending clear promotional guidelines based on shopper understanding and current market knowledge, ensuring all promotional investment is reviewed and evaluated.
  • Recommending winning commercial propositions for the category/sub-category, effectively communicating these to field sales managers as appropriate.
  • Ensuring adherence to all company principles and policies.
  • Continuously improving using the NCE methodology.
