Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Services professional to join our team. As a vital extension of insurance agencies, you will support their day-to-day operations with accuracy, professionalism, and a proactive mindset.

You'll handle a wide variety of tasks that help agencies retain clients, stay compliant, and maintain smooth operations — all while ensuring policyholders receive timely and effective service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quoting & Comparisons: Generate accurate and competitive quotes; summarize and present coverage options to agency teams.
  • Policy Endorsements: Process policy updates and changes using carrier portals or agency management systems (AMS).
  • Renewal Management: Coordinate upcoming renewals by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring timely client follow-up.
  • Remarketing Incoming Renewals: Review expiring policies to ensure competitive pricing and coverage; re-shop when appropriate.
  • Non-Renewal Follow-up: Investigate non-renewals, communicate with clients, and assist in securing alternative coverage options.
  • Underwriting Communication: Work directly with underwriters to obtain clarifications, submit documents, and get approvals.
  • Billing & Payments: Handle billing questions, process payments, and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Client Communication: Answer client emails, make follow-up calls, and ensure satisfaction throughout the service process.
  • AMS Updates: Maintain accurate records and activity logs in the agency's management system.
  • Cancellation Management: Process cancellations from initiation through completion while coordinating with clients and carriers.
  • Replacement Cost Estimations (RCEs): Assist in creating accurate property replacement cost estimates and related documentation.
Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in customer service, ideally in the insurance industry
  • Solid knowledge of personal lines insurance (home, auto, etc.)
  • Proficiency with AMS platforms and carrier portals is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professionalism, attention to detail, and a client-first mindset
  • Relevant certifications or coursework in insurance or finance are beneficial
