Job Overview
This role involves overseeing sales performance and ensuring that sales targets are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets for POL products, lubricants, Agri Business, CNG, and NFR to meet divisional sales objectives and ensure profitability.
- Monitor retail outlet performance by preparing Daily Sales Control Sheets and Tour Itinerary Reports.
- Conduct regular visits to retail outlets to monitor business activities, nozzle sales figures, and provide guidance on company standards.
- Visit markets and distribution setups to monitor TSO/Distributor/DSF performance and provide guidance to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Cover shops/outlets, manage van operations, and review distributor route plans to achieve sustainable ROI.
- Facilitate housekeeping and resolve M&R issues at retail outlets with Divisional Engineers and maintenance contractors.
- Timely address customer complaints to improve customer service.
- Verify that POL Products are sold on OGRA announced rates with 100% correct Quality and Quantity without adulteration.
- Conduct stock variations to ensure company stock availability on all outlets.
- Recover distribution margins from non-performing outlets to safeguard company ROI.
- Motivate dealers to achieve monthly targets, revive zero sales sites, and rationalize credit limits.
- Promptly resolve dealer queries and issues to facilitate them.
- Ensure CODs, leases, and rentals are processed without delay.
- Review credit utilization and ensure adequate credit utilization, no zero sales outlets, and nil default.
- Conduct online inspections to monitor outlet sales and housekeeping in real time.
- Organize customer service days and WOW trainings to educate staff on safety standards.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Negotiation and Conflict Resolution.
- Capacity to understand sales functional areas, including Sales Development, Customer relationship, and Distribution handling.
- Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Master's degree from a renowned university or institution.
- Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with related functional experience.
