Job Overview

Maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain work structures by updating job requirements and descriptions for all positions.
  • Design and implement recruiting, testing, and interviewing processes; counsel managers on candidate selection; conduct exit interviews; recommend changes to improve staff management.
  • Prepare employees for assignments through orientation and training programs, ensuring they possess necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain a pay plan by conducting pay surveys, scheduling job evaluations, preparing pay budgets, and monitoring individual pay actions to ensure fair compensation.
  • Evaluate and improve employee performance by coaching and disciplining employees, resolving grievances, and counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Maintain and communicate benefits programs to employees by assessing benefit needs and trends, recommending benefit programs, directing benefit claims, and designing educational programs.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations by monitoring federal requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization during audits.
  • Develop and maintain human resource policies and procedures by preparing, updating, and recommending them.
  • Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records.
  • Stay updated on professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Manage operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.

Hiring, Human Resources Management, Benefits Administration, Performance Management, Communication Processes, Compensation and Wage Structure, Diversity Support, Employee Classification, Employment Law, Anti-Sexual Harassment Laws, HRMS Knowledge.

Preferred Skills

Information Technology and Services industry background is preferred but not required.
