Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and experienced freight broker to fill this key position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers to secure freight capacity and consistent business opportunities.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers and customers to maximize profit margins while ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Manage the full freight brokerage process including load planning, scheduling, tracking, and documentation.
  • Identify and onboard qualified carriers; maintain an updated carrier database.
  • Monitor shipments to ensure timely pick-up and delivery, resolving any issues that arise.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulations and company policies.
  • Generate and analyze reports to improve service quality and profitability.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and maintaining strong client relationships.
Requirements & Skills:
  • Proven work experience in freight brokerage or a similar logistics/transportation role.
  • Strong understanding of the freight industry, including FTL (Full Truckload), LTL (Less-than-Truckload), and intermodal transportation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and MS Office tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • High level of self-motivation and goal orientation.
