  • Identify and prospect new business/clients via cold-calling and sales activities.
  • Build and develop strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to encourage up-selling and retention.
  • Generating new business leads and setting appointments.
  • Negotiating air and Sea freights with carriers and airlines.
  • Maintaining regular contact with existing clients to determine their daily and weekly shipping needs.
  • Providing responsive customer service and resolving client issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensuring that all client freight loads are shipped on time.
  • Meeting or exceeding all performance goals.
  • Working closely with operations and CS team for smooth and efficient customer care.

Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Job Specification

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in handling air and sea freight.
  • Good relationships with Air and Sea Lines.
  • Good communication skills, problem solving, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Must have negotiation skills in air and sea freight with Air/Shipping lines and customers.
  • Minimum education: bachelor or equivalent.
  • Sales experience in Logistics.
  • Good command of English, both speaking and writing.
  • Strong judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
