Import Manager Position

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Karachi.

Job Description Overview

The Import Manager plays a pivotal role in the company by overseeing the import of goods into the organization. Daily tasks involve coordinating with international vendors, managing shipment processes, and ensuring compliance with customs, laws, and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of import-related data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize import processes.
  • Ensure clear communication with customers throughout the entire import process.

In addition, the Import Manager must ensure that all import activities are carried out in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Key Areas for Success
  • Relevant experience can be considered in place of formal qualifications.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in import and logistics, with preference given to more experienced applicants.
  • Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and regulatory compliance is essential.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
  • Experience with import documentation is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Working with international vendors and suppliers is a valuable asset.
