The Regional Finance Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Regional Finance Director in overseeing the financial management of field offices. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate annual budgets and produce required analyses and reports to the Regional Finance Director.
  • Manage accounting, payments, and financial reporting for regional managed awards.
  • Assist in preparing financial analysis of country offices, including funding status, spending, cash flow, and potential risks.
Financial Analysis and Budgeting

The Regional Finance Analyst will work closely with the field-based Deputy Director Finance and regional counterparts to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with IRC procedures.

  • Review non-USG donor financial reports for accuracy prior to submission.
  • Prepare internal financial reports for regional and HQ management.
Controllership and Compliance

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring financial compliance and integrity within their previous roles.

  • Support the Regional Finance Director in providing technical guidance and support to field offices.
  • Review cash requests from field offices and provide feedback for timely corrections.
Regional Finance Support

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to gain valuable experience working in a multi-cultural international environment.

  • Respond to ad hoc requests made by the Regional Finance Director or country offices.
  • Identify potential risks and share with the Regional Finance Director.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum five years progressive finance/accounting experience in the non-profit sector.
  • Previous work experience in a multi-cultural international environment is highly desirable.
