Sustainability Data Officer

The role of a Sustainability Data Officer is pivotal in the pursuit of net zero carbon emissions. This position requires a skilled professional to join a global team in analyzing and reporting carbon emissions data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support quarterly carbon emissions and financial data reporting and quality checks with country offices.
  • Identify and analyze carbon emissions hot spots, developing recommendations for action.
  • Design and maintain user-friendly spreadsheets and data reports for country offices.
  • Create dashboards and analytical tools to support data-driven decision making.
  • Document methodologies and processes for data collection and analysis.
  • Support efforts to automate data collection and calculations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent level of professional experience) in science, mathematics, or another subject requiring regular handling of data.
  • Experience working with data systems, research protocols, or program evaluation.
  • Demonstrable interest in staying up-to-date with latest developments in sustainability and data analysis.
  • Able to work with non-technical staff and communicate complex data insights effectively.
