Job Title: Nutrition and Food Services Director

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nutrition and Food Services Director to lead our nutrition and food services department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the department, ensuring that all operations are aligned with our organizational goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nutrition and food services management, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving results. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including employees, customers, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement departmental plans and budgets to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead and direct multiple facilities, focusing on customer needs, government regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 22000:2005 quality management system and JCIA standards.
  • Coordinate and maintain external and internal audits on quality management systems.
  • Review customer feedback and coordinate with concerned teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Manage official caterings and banquet needs of the institution.
  • Establish and monitor performance standards among departments and ensure consistent quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a relevant discipline.
  • At least ten years of experience in senior roles of nutrition and food services departments in large organizations.
  • Sound knowledge of ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System and related standards.
  • Good command of dietetics and familiarity with food and labor laws.
