Job Title:

Urdu Academic

Responsibilities:
  • Delivering lectures and lessons to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as supervising thesis projects.
  • Preparing course materials, syllabi, and assessments, utilizing educational software for enhanced student engagement.
  • Conducting original research in Urdu literature and linguistics, presenting findings at national and international conferences.
  • Publishing academic articles and books in reputable journals, contributing to the development of Urdu studies.
  • Developing curriculum and teaching methodologies for undergraduate and graduate courses, focusing on student-centered learning.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Urdu (Literature/Linguistics) from a recognized university.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching, with a strong publication record.
  • Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including online and blended learning formats.
  • Strong research background, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Experience with educational technology, such as learning management systems and multimedia tools.
