Payroll and Accounting Professional

This role involves managing the payroll and accounting functions for our organization and its affiliates. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.

  • The Payroll and Accounting Professional is responsible for data entry of vendor invoices.
  • Maintain timely entry and scanning of invoices and Payment Authorization vouchers.
  • Resolve any invoice problems.
  • Run an age payable report weekly to clear outstanding invoices before month end.
  • Maintain and update the Payment Authorization Voucher signature book for manual checks.
  • Perform various administrative and other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth operation of the department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Accountabilities:
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Needs to have a complete understanding of operational routine accounting functions.
