Job Role: IT Support Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to fill the position of IT Support Officer. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and operate small to medium-sized networks
  • Configure and install various network devices and services, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Administer corporate user accounts, manage mail servers, printer servers, and web servers
  • Experience in systems management, monitoring, and sustainment, including hardware repair, software installation, and maintenance
  • Implementation and administration of Active Directory, expertise in configuring DHCP, DNS, Radius Servers, and experience with Mikrotik and PFsense & Hardware Firewalls
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies, including VMware ESXi host and Hyper-V
  • Hands-on experience defining multiple virtual servers on a single host machine
  • Block web/application access and prevent malware attacks
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices
  • Perform troubleshooting, archiving, and backup of servers
  • Candidates with knowledge of call center systems using Asterisk servers and team management will be preferred

Requirements:

  • Education: BSCS degree
  • Specific Requirement: DAE or CCNA certification
  • Location: Rawalpindi
  • Experience: 1-3 years
