Job Description:

The role of a Planning Executive is crucial in driving business growth and success. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive plans to achieve strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Analysis and Insights: Conduct thorough market research to gain valuable insights into industry trends, competitors, and customer behavior.
  2. Monthly Planning Cycle (S&OP): Facilitate and drive efficiency in planning processes to mitigate potential losses and optimize resource allocation.
  3. Business Understanding: Gain in-depth knowledge of industry dynamics, volume, market share, and contribute high-quality input into key business milestones.
  4. Forecasting and Scenario Planning: Coordinate development of integrated long-term macroeconomic forecasts and short-term forecasts to inform corporate and marketing plans.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of market and industry insights generation.
  6. Tool Enhancement: Continuously improve current tools and methodologies to analyze information.
  7. Reporting Support: Provide support for above-market reporting as needed.
  8. Strategy Cadence: Support timely and actionable insights to maintain the cadence of reporting, planning, and forecasting.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in the FMCG category or a related field.
  2. Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
  3. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, including strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
  4. Project Management: Demonstrated project management skills to lead and execute projects effectively.
  5. Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation skills to convey complex information clearly and compellingly.
  6. Forecasting Techniques: Proficiency in forecasting techniques and competitor analysis.
