The Project Manager oversees all capital projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. This involves coordinating internally and externally with stakeholders during planning and execution stages.

This position entails:

  • Master scheduling and tracking of project activities using tools like MS Project
  • Developing User Required Specifications (URS) based on stakeholder requirements
  • Following up with stakeholders to meet timelines
  • Monitoring expenses to control budgets and incorporate energy conservation concepts where applicable
  • Updating management on project progress and anticipating delays, highlighting resource needs
  • Maintaining updated drawings and schedules
  • Ensuring implementation of Engineering and EHS&E standards
  • Complying with the code of business conduct
  • Utilizing resources effectively
  • Preparing URS and design schemes; monitoring project execution
  • Aligning with user departments on project progress and conducting monthly meetings
  • Preparing Long Range Plans (LRP) aligned with site strategies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience managing projects within client organizations
  • Knowledge of project management, planning, contracts, and scheduling tools
  • Understanding of contracts, BOQs, and drawings
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
