Job Description

The Business Development Officer will be responsible for driving business growth through the identification and pursuit of new opportunities. This involves conducting market research, building relationships with clients, and developing strategic sales plans. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development and sales, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills. They will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and be proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite. Additionally, they will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have strong organizational and time management skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach activities.
  • Built strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Developed and implemented strategic sales plans to achieve business growth targets.
  • Conducted market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Prepared and presented effective business proposals and presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiated contracts and agreements to close business deals successfully.
  • Collaborated with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to enhance service offerings.
  • Tracked and analyzed sales performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies.
  • Maintained accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue in the CRM system.
  • Provided regular reports to management on business development progress and opportunities.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
