Compliance is a critical component of our operations at this fintech firm. As a key leader in compliance, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our global financial regulations framework across various jurisdictions. This entails overseeing regulatory adherence, designing and implementing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) strategies, as well as ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our company's operations align with US banking, fintech, and crypto regulations, including VASP obligations and other applicable laws.
  • AML/KYC Leadership: Develop and refine AML/KYC programs, policies, and procedures, leveraging best-in-class tools and frameworks.
  • Sanctions Screening: Implement and manage sanctions screening processes, integrating appropriate compliance technology stacks.
  • Risk Monitoring: Utilize risk monitoring tools and frameworks to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
  • Collaboration: Partner with product, legal, and operations teams to embed compliance requirements into product design and business processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with payment providers, crypto exchanges, and regulators as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of regulatory changes, emerging risks, and industry trends to future-proof our compliance posture.

Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in compliance within fintech, crypto, or financial services, along with a deep understanding of US banking and finance regulations. Proficiency in AML/KYC, sanctions screening, and compliance technology is essential, while experience with payment providers or crypto exchanges is also desirable.
