Senior Integration Specialist

The role of a Senior Integration Specialist is to oversee the integration process, ensuring seamless data exchange between systems. This involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and documenting requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Gathering and analyzing integration requirements from business stakeholders
  • Collaborating with business analysts, clients, and IT professionals to understand and document integration needs
  • Coordinating with external vendors, partners, and countries to analyze the integration needs and data exchange requirements
  • Creating data mappings, defining API specifications, and identifying business use cases for integration
  • Documenting the integration process, including API request/response samples and workflow diagrams
  • Providing training and support to end-users and other IT team members on integration-related topics
  • Performing API testing using tools like Postman and SoapUI to validate API requests/responses and troubleshoot errors
  • Conducting System Integration Testing (SIT) to ensure data integrity and functionality
  • Working with integration developers and operations support teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues
  • Maintaining version control for integration documentation and ensuring it is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders
  • Planning and executing the rollout/migration of services to new APIs and validating the integration post-implementation
  • Presenting progress reports and providing regular status updates to supervisors and management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in IT business/integration analysis, integration development, or a related field
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and techniques
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Solid knowledge of API concepts, protocols, and authentication mechanisms
  • Ability to create detailed integration documents, API specifications, and use cases
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint/release concepts
  • Knowledge of database design and SQL
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI
