About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team as an IT Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT systems, networks, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network and Systems Management:
    • Maintain and troubleshoot computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and the Internet.
    • Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
    • Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.
    • Hardware and Software Support:
      • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software, including servers, workstations, printers, and other equipment.
      • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, performing repairs and replacements as needed.
      • Provide technical assistance to users, resolving issues and answering questions in a timely and professional manner.
      • Data Backup and Recovery:
        • Develop and implement data backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster or data loss.
        • Test and verify backups to ensure data integrity and availability.
        • Documentation and Reporting:
          • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of system configurations, upgrades, and changes.
          • Prepare and submit regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and other relevant metrics.
