Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive the development of our fleet and driver safety solutions. This individual will be responsible for defining and implementing technology visions, managing product outcomes, and leading technical design discussions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive technology strategy for building new product features.
  • Manage cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop long-term product roadmaps.
  • Lead technical design discussions across multiple teams.
  • Drive execution, launch, and daily operations of functionalities.
  • Introduce and continuously evolve cutting-edge development processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering or related domains.
  • Experience working in high-throughput and low-latency systems.
  • 3+ years of experience managing 10+ engineers.
  • 5+ years of experience in building high-scale distributed systems.
  • Technical depth and breadth in agile product development, distributed systems, infrastructure, cloud computing, build tools, front-end engineering, mobile, and QA.
  • Able to perform architectural work including development of technical designs and definition of requirements.
  • Demonstrated success as a nimble and proactive thinker and doer.
  • High degree of comfort with short release cycles owning full software lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of what makes for strong healthy and productive engineering culture.
  • A track record as a strong individual contributor earlier in career with continued interest in rolling up sleeves and pitching in with coding when needed.
