Job Description
This Strategic Sales and Account Manager position involves driving business growth through strategic sales initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Business Development: Identify new customers and expand our existing customer base to drive revenue growth.
- Sales Strategy: Monitor sales data and stay up-to-date with current market trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Consultative Sales Skills: Utilize first-class consultative sales skills to understand customer needs and preferences, and communicate the features and benefits of our products effectively.
- Account Management: Prepare account profiles for company accounts and establish strong, loyal relationships with decision-makers.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers as needed.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide timely management reports and identify areas for improvement based on sales data and market trends.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Sales Experience: A demonstrable and successful sales track record, with a proven ability to meet sales quotas.
- Technical Knowledge: A good technical background in the product area is desirable, but not required.
- Education: A degree in business studies would be an advantage, but not essential.
