Job Title:

Financial Controller


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing statements.
  • Finance Systems: Design and implement effective finance systems and internal controls, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis on company operations, including trend analysis, variance analysis, competitors and market analysis, variable and fixed costs analysis, profitability analysis, product-wise margins, profits, and working capital analysis.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business growth and decision-making.
  • Cash Management: Manage cash flows and ensure adherence to organizational objectives.
  • Audit and Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors and advisors for company audits and reviews, and liaise with regulatory bodies such as tax authorities.
  • Taxation: Oversee tax function, reviewing tax records and managing tax compliance.
  • ERP System: Maintain a good understanding of Oracle software and its applications in the organization.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation laws.
  • Skill Set: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP systems such as Oracle.
