Business Development Lead Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of sales professionals and provide coaching, performance feedback and opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee daily activities and allocate resources for sales engagements.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to strategize on key accounts and develop technical solutions.
  • Foster a collaborative environment through regular one-on-ones and team meetings.
  • Review and approve proposals, demonstrations and presentations prepared by the team.
  • Provide guidance and support for complex technical issues.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and programs for sales professionals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a leadership role within a pre-sales or sales capacity.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Bachelor's of Science preferred.
  • Proven success as an individual contributor in sales with excellent coaching skills.
  • Strong understanding of commercial sales cycles and the role of pre-sales in accelerating deals.
  • Familiarity with value selling concepts and methodologies.
  • Technical aptitude with experience of SaaS, hardware, IoT and AI/ML technologies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to solve complex technical problems and propose effective solutions.
