Job Title:

Donor Attendant

The Donor Attendant is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of blood collection procedures. This includes verifying patient identification, conducting hemoglobin tests and vital signs measurements, performing vein puncture procedures, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:
  • Intermediate or graduate degree with a focus on biology or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in venipuncture on adult and pediatric patients.
  • Previous experience as a donor attendant is an added advantage.
  • Ability to read and write simple English.
  • Knowledge of various collection containers.
  • Good knowledge of venipuncture on adults and pediatric patients.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under stress.
