We seek a skilled Research Specialist to support the Centre of Excellence in Women and Child Health.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage medicine inventory and stock distribution to ensure timely disbursement to field sites.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records for medicine inventory and stock distribution.
  • Collaborate with project supervisors and relevant departments to ensure efficient procurement processes.
  • Spearhead the development and implementation of effective stock management strategies for department warehouses.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify stock records and actual inventory.
  • Visit field sites to ensure compliance with university policies.
Essential Qualifications and Attributes:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A Pharm-D or equivalent qualification;
  • 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare organization;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and computer applications;
  • Ability to work under pressure and negotiate effectively;
  • Willingness to travel frequently to field sites;
  • Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team.
