Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality? We're seeking a part-time QA Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

We're looking for someone who can help us ensure our software products meet rigorous quality standards. As a Quality Assurance Tester, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and executing manual and automated tests, collaborating closely with developers and product managers, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

  • Test Planning & Execution: Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for our software applications.
  • API Testing: Perform comprehensive API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar. Validate API responses, data integrity, and error handling.
  • Manual & Automated Testing: Execute manual tests to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of applications. Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts (experience with automation tools is a plus).
  • Defect Identification: Perform manual and automated testing to identify, reproduce, and accurately document software defects.

You'll work closely with our team to ensure timely resolution of issues and continuous product improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We're looking for someone with proven experience in software testing or quality assurance roles. You should have a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail) is highly desirable.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
  • Methodologies: Familiarity with agile/scrum development practices.
