Accounting Expertise Sought:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Account Assistant/Accountant to fill a key role in our organization. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in commerce and have at least 1-2 years of continuous experience in a single organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and expense bookings with high accuracy.
  2. Perform thorough bank reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial records.
  3. Stay up-to-date with import regulations and documentation requirements, including contracts and costing of imported materials.
  4. Prepare and submit monthly sales tax returns and withholding statements in a timely manner.
  5. Maintain accurate accounts payable records and ensure timely payment processing.
  6. Manage accounts receivable effectively, tracking and following up on outstanding invoices.
  7. Conduct regular reconciliations of stock, sales, purchases, and production records to identify discrepancies.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B. Com) or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of continuous experience in a single organization as an Account Assistant/Accountant.
  • Excellent understanding of daily accounting transactions and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
