Category Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Marketing Specialist to develop and manage trade marketing activity plans, including merchandising, promotions, and monitoring performance across various channels and categories.
About the Role:- This role requires developing channel-specific trade plans for existing and new products.
- You will implement channel-specific plan-o-grams and coordinate with brand, supply chain, and finance teams.
- Your responsibilities include managing promotional plans according to guidelines and KPIs, proposing changes based on market analysis.
- Coordinate with sales teams to track trade plans for launches and re-launches, including run-out and trade selling stories.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing Point-of-Sale Materials (POS) and trade tools for new and current products.
- Driving in-store shopper activation and communication, translating shopper insights into actionable strategies.
- Creating annual shopper marketing plans, including trade launch plans, channel/shopper job-to-be-done, budget needs, promo guides, and shopper activation plans.
- Preparing analyses for market/shopper trends, assortment, visibility/shelf layout, promo efficiency, and providing proposals.
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of trade marketing, sales, distribution networks, and shopper marketing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and project management abilities.
This position is full-time and located within the manufacturing industry.
