Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proficient Danish Interpreter to work with us.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting in various settings, including healthcare, legal, educational, immigration & refugee services, and more.

As a Danish Interpreter, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by bridging language gaps in critical public service environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
  • Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
  • Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
  • Dealing with highly confidential information
  • Liaise between the service user and service provider

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English or another language
  • BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
  • Any other interpreting related qualification
  • Must hold an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking)
  • You will be required to sign and agree to a surety bond
  • You will be required to sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement
