Sales Manager

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and fostering business through proactive direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls, and tours of the hotel.

Developing and implementing strategic action plans to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue is a key aspect of this role. You will identify areas of opportunity in performance and recommend tools and sales training to optimize the performance of the sales team.

Additionally, you will work with individual hotel teams to identify skill development areas and properly deploy sales and marketing resources.

Sales Manager Duties:
  1. Responsible for Corporate and Travel Agent Room Sales for the hotel.
  2. Develop strategic action plans to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue.
  3. Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales.
  4. Represent hotels in various events and exhibitions.
  5. Implement all sales action plans related to your market areas as outlined in the marketing plan.
  6. Conduct daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients.
  7. Provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication to the properties, and develop professional long-term business relationships.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  9. Participate in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
  10. Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked.
  11. Support hotels' service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.

Education:

A 3-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major is required.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in sales and marketing or related professional areas is required.
