Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Crime Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Management and Compliance department, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and resilience of our company.

Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying new and emerging risks, and developing effective solutions to address real-world challenges impacting our business, customers, and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and document relevant data, including alert activity, account information, transactional data, KYC information, PEP status, adverse media, and counterparty details.
  • Review and analyze underlying data to assess whether alerts should be escalated or closed as false positives.
  • Document all alerts, including supporting data, analysis, and escalation or close recommendation rationale, within the case management system in a timely manner.
  • Build relationships with Investigation units and effectively communicate and transfer information for case investigations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share processing and knowledge, enhancing the Investigation process flows.
  • Process work items in priority order, aligned with SLA priorities, and escalate issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A qualified graduate with a minimum of 4 years' experience in Global Financial Crime Compliance.
  • Familiarity with internal systems and processes or similar processes at other institutions, and proficiency in MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
  • A self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision, multi-task, and meet deadlines in high-pressure environments.
  • A result-oriented team player with strong problem-solving ability, exceptional research and analytical skills, and strong documentation skills.
  • Adaptable to change, with strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
