Construction Estimator Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Construction Estimator.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical and communication skills, as well as proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field is preferred.

About the Position

This role involves analyzing project specifications and blueprints to accurately estimate materials, labor, and equipment costs.

  • Prepare detailed scope of work, quantity take offs and cost estimations by studying semantics and 3D rendered designs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for cost estimation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and proposals for various construction projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial.

The selected individual will also be responsible for communicating effectively with clients, architects, and stakeholders to address questions and concerns regarding project costs and budgets.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Proven experience as a construction estimator in residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
