System Support Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Engineer to join our organization based in Lahore, Punjab.

This position requires a strong technical background and exceptional communication skills to provide support for applications and resolve issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Streamline Operations: Develop and maintain utilities and automated reporting tools to enhance decision-making processes.
  • User Training and Adoption: Conduct training sessions to ensure effective application use and adoption of new features.
  • Vendor and Development Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors and development teams for issue resolution, application enhancements, and system updates.
  • Implementation and Deployment: Support application implementations and provide front-end support during deployment and post-go-live phases.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Create reports using queries and troubleshoot data/reporting issues in real-time.
  • Process Automation: Automate recurring processes, track application issues, and document changes.
  • Job Scheduling and Clustering: Manage job scheduling, availability, clustering, and replication tasks related to applications.
  • Performance Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot performance issues impacting application usability.
  • Audit and Compliance: Monitor and maintain audit controls and log files to ensure data integrity and security compliance.
  • Procedure Enhancement: Propose and implement stored procedures and functions to enhance control and automation.
  • Cross-Departmental Training: Coordinate cross-departmental training and support software implementation efforts.
  • User Management: Manage user roles, accounts, and access levels within applications.
  • Report Preparation: Assist with report logs, user form edits, and UI/UX improvements.
  • Performance Analysis: Prepare and deliver detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders and management.
  • System Issue Resolution: Analyze application performance metrics and resolve system issues promptly.
  • Development Timelines: Oversee development timelines for software updates and enhancements.
