Global Payment Expansion Specialist

The role of Business Development Manager entails spearheading the expansion of local payment channels and fund routes in Pakistan. Key objectives include integrating local banks and e-wallets, establishing exchange routes between the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) and USDT, and ensuring efficient and compliant fund flow for business operations.
This position demands hands-on experience with the local financial environment, including payment service providers (PSPs), banks, and exchange channels. The ideal candidate must be able to independently initiate partnerships, execute integrations, and coordinate technical and business processes.
Main Responsibilities:- Foster strategic partnerships with local banks, e-wallet providers, and third-party PSPs in Pakistan through effective business negotiations.
- Analyze the Pakistani payment landscape to identify customer demand, regulatory trends, competitors, business opportunities, and potential risks.
- Develop localized payment product strategies for Pakistan and optimize market entry and operational approaches.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies, legal advisors, and consulting firms to ensure all payment operations comply with local laws and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree or above in finance, economics, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the payments industry, with familiarity in the Pakistani market.
- Direct access to or working relationships with local banks and e-wallet providers are essential.
- Fluency in both Urdu and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
