Senior Technical Lead – Software Solutions

As a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect, you will play a key role in leading the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure software solutions. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with deep backend expertise in Python, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails to transition from hands-on development or technical delivery into architectural leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing Scalable Software Architectures: Create high-performance software architectures for web and mobile applications, leveraging your expertise in Python, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
  • Technical Planning and Leadership: Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions, and lead architecture discussions, technical planning, and solution delivery across all phases of the SDLC.
  • Mentorship and Collaboration: Provide technical mentorship to development teams, promoting best practices and code quality, and collaborate with product managers, clients, and engineers to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Proactively identify delivery risks and ensure architectural solutions are practical and implementation-ready, and oversee compliance with architectural and security standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven Expertise: A proven track record as a Solution Architect or Senior Backend Developer, preferably within a software house or consulting environment.
  • Delivery Background: Strong delivery background with a solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Backend Technologies: Deep expertise in backend technologies, including Python, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails, and proficient in designing microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and enterprise integrations.
  • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • DevOps Tools: Strong grasp of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Frontend Frameworks: Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Certifications: Certifications in cloud architecture or backend technologies.
  • Architectural Governance: Familiarity with architectural governance processes and documentation standards.
  • Technical Risk Management: Track record of managing technical risks and delivery constraints effectively.
