Job Title:

Venue Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Venue Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our event venue. The ideal candidate will ensure the venue is clean, safe, and welcoming, managing procurement of necessary supplies, and coordinating with staff to deliver exceptional service.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the venue ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
  • Handle procurement of necessary supplies for venue operations.
  • Keep detailed inventory and purchasing records for efficiency and cost control.
  • Provide informative tours for potential clients and visitors.
  • Coordinate logistics, bookings, and staff assignments for scheduled events.
  • Manage booking and vendor contract documentation.
  • Process all payments related to venue bookings ensuring timely payment prior to each event.
  • Schedule visitor appointments and coordinate timings avoiding conflicts and ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Ensure paperwork and approvals are completed before each event.
  • Assist in basic graphic design tasks such as promotional materials and digital content creation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in venue or operations management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and document/payment handling experience.
  • Customer service or hospitality experience is beneficial.
  • Basic maintenance and facility oversight skills.
  • Inventory management and procurement process proficiency.
  • Graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Suite) are advantageous.
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage venue operations and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate logistics and staff assignments for events.
  • Manage bookings and vendor contracts.
  • Process payments and ensure timely payment from clients.
  • Assist with graphic design tasks and create promotional materials.
