Job Title: Events Venue Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an organized and proactive individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of our event venue.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Key responsibilities include managing procurement of necessary supplies, coordinating with staff to deliver exceptional service, and acting as a tour guide for visitors and clients.

This role also involves handling documentation related to events and managing payments to ensure a smooth financial process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the venue, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming space.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Procure groceries, tools, equipment, and other supplies required for venue operations, keeping detailed inventory and purchasing records for efficiency and cost control.
  • Provide informative tours for potential clients and visitors, highlighting the venue's features and amenities.
  • Coordinate logistics, bookings, and staff assignments for scheduled events, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Manage documentation related to bookings, vendor contracts, and compliance, maintaining accurate records and deadlines.
  • Process all payments related to venue bookings, verifying timely clearance prior to each event.
  • Schedule visitor appointments accurately, avoiding conflicts and ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Ensure all paperwork and approvals are completed before each event, guaranteeing a well-organized and efficient setup.
  • Assist in graphic design tasks, creating promotional materials and digital content to enhance the venue's visual appeal.
  • Maintain adherence to safety protocols and legal requirements, upholding industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in venue, event, or operations management.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail with experience handling documents and payments.
  • Customer service or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
  • Basic maintenance and facility oversight skills.
  • Inventory management and procurement process proficiency.
  • Graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva) are an advantage.
  • Flexibility, including evening and weekend availability as needed.
