We are seeking a skilled Technical Proposal Writer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for crafting high-quality proposals that showcase our company's expertise in the cybersecurity domain.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in technical proposal writing, preferably in the IT or cybersecurity industry. They will also possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, terminology, and services, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In this role, the Technical Proposal Writer will collaborate with technical teams, sales, and leadership to gather accurate and relevant input for proposal content. They will then translate complex cybersecurity solutions into clear, concise, and persuasive language, ensuring all proposals are compliant with client requirements and submission guidelines.

To succeed in this position, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, English, Communications, or a related field. They will also possess experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have a good understanding of industry standards and compliance frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR. Familiarity with proposal development tools and content management systems is also desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Draft and edit technical proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs in the cybersecurity domain.
  2. Collaborate with technical teams, sales, and leadership to gather accurate and relevant input for proposal content.
  3. Translate complex cybersecurity solutions into clear, concise, and persuasive language.
  4. Ensure all proposals are compliant with client requirements and submission guidelines.
  5. Maintain a centralized library of reusable content including templates, presentations, technical documentation, case studies, and boilerplate text.
  6. Review proposal drafts for clarity, consistency, and grammatical accuracy.
  7. Assist in creating supporting sales documents such as service overviews and capability statements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, English, Communications, or a related field.
  2. 2–3 years of experience in technical proposal writing, preferably in the IT or cybersecurity industry.
  3. Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts, terminology, and services.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in translating technical content into business-friendly language.
  5. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  6. Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
