Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fund Manager to join our organization.

  • Responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, creating schedules and statements, preparing bank reconciliations and distribution workings, liaising with auditors, verifying investment portfolios, calculating daily NAV, and preparing regulatory reports.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience in the same industry and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements of the funds.
  • Schedule and Statement Creation: Create schedules and statements related to quarterly, half-yearly, and annual accounts.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Prepare bank reconciliations and distribution workings as per announcement.
  • Audit Liaison: Liaise with auditors on a half-yearly and annual basis for audit procedures.
  • Investment Portfolio Verification: Verify investment portfolios before announcing daily offer/redemption prices of units of respective funds.
  • Daily NAV Calculation: Calculate and announce daily NAV through email and website.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Prepare regulatory reports for submission to the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan and State Bank of Pakistan.
  • Accounting Best Practices: Ensure proper accounting of SMAs on a daily basis according to best practices and IFRS.
  • Monthly Reporting: Execute month-end reporting to internal departments for SMA clients.
  • Bank Reconciliation Monthly: Prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis for all SMA clients.
