Lead Medical Imaging Technology Professor

This position combines academic excellence with administrative responsibility, overseeing departmental operations, faculty, and student development while actively contributing to teaching and research.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and significant experience in medical imaging technology, including leadership roles and academic teaching experience. They will provide academic and administrative leadership to the Medical Imaging Technology department, teach undergraduate courses, supervise research projects and clinical training activities, and ensure quality assurance, faculty development, and student mentoring.

  • Provide academic and administrative leadership to the Medical Imaging Technology department.
  • Teach undergraduate courses in the field of Medical Imaging Technology.
  • Supervise research projects and clinical training activities.
  • Develop, review, and enhance curriculum as per regulatory body standards.
  • Foster partnerships with clinical institutions for student placements.
  • Ensure quality assurance, faculty development, and student mentoring.
  • Contribute to the university's strategic goals through departmental planning and innovation.
  • Participate in recruitment events to engage with prospective students.
Key Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Medical Imaging Technology from a recognized institution with minimum 4 years post-Master's experience.
  • Preference given to candidates holding a PhD or currently enrolled in a PhD program with at least 3 years of proven administrative experience as Head of Department.
  • Strong leadership, communication, academic planning, and research abilities.
