Job Description: The Front Desk Officer serves as the primary point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. This role entails managing the reception area, handling inquiries, directing calls, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a customer-oriented attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively.

This position requires strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

A key aspect of this role is maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Direct phone calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Manage correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages.
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it remains clean and organized at all times.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management.
  • Provide relevant information about services.
  • Monitor office supplies and coordinate replenishments as needed.
  • Support other departments with clerical duties as required.
  • Evaluate and maintain compliance with security and safety protocols for guests and staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Intermediate or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management software.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism.
