Financial Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled financial specialist to join our team in Islamabad, PK. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, business plans, and budget reports.

  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements, business plans, and budget reports
  • Collaborating with internal or external auditors and dealing with any financial irregularities as they arise
  • Providing expert advice on tax planning and tax issues and managing the filing of tax returns
  • Overseeing accounting processes and systems, ensuring compliance with UK regulations
  • Creating and presenting monthly financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators
  • Reviewing company systems and analyzing risk, identifying areas for improvement
  • Providing strategic financial advice and guidance to senior management
  • Detecting and preventing fraud, ensuring the integrity of financial data
  • Producing reports and recommendations following internal audits, implementing changes as necessary
  • Arranging financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting

Requirements:

  • General business interest and awareness, with a strong focus on finance and accounting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial analysis and reporting
  • Negotiation and decision-making skills, with the ability to provide strategic financial guidance
  • Strategic planning and numeracy skills, with experience in financial modeling and forecasting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ATT
  • Relevant work experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field

Work from home and must be able to work in GMT hours (08:00 - 17:00). We offer a competitive salary package in PKR.
