CCTV Monitoring Specialist

Orient Electronics is seeking a CCTV monitoring specialist to oversee the surveillance equipment in their control room. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining security systems, watching live and recorded footage, reporting incidents or suspicious behavior, and contacting authorities when necessary.

The role requires efficient operation of all surveillance equipment, including cameras, computer networks, and other systems. This includes:

  • Monitoring and recording events, incidents, and actions taken in a clear and accurate format.
  • Maintaining a secure system for data provision, adhering to regulations and ensuring the security of the control room and equipment.
  • Providing efficient and courteous radio and telephone answering services, dealing with enquiries effectively.
  • Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing security cameras, computer networks, and other video surveillance equipment.
Job Requirements

We are looking for individuals with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Prior experience in private or commercial security is advantageous.

Candidates should be able to identify small details that others might overlook.

Able to work independently and multitask.

Certification in CCTV operations and computer expertise are required.
